Application

The PCIe external expansion card (hereinafter referred to as "this product", "adapter" or "this card") is a high-performance wired expansion interface card from the host to the I/O subsystem for external expansion of the PCIE bus. This card is based on the Avago PCIe Gen3 bridge architecture, and this product supports transparent PCIe connectivity and clock isolation.

This product uses a high-speed MiniSAS-HD connector to expand external 8 Lane PCIE3.0 resources, providing up to 64Gb/s bandwidth and low latency. As a transparent host and slave adapter, this product is an ideal choice for I/O expansion systems.

This product can be configured with 2 x4 PCIe interfaces or 1 x8 interface;

This product is suitable for applications such as GPU farms, test and measurement equipment, medical equipment, and storage subsystems, providing flexibility and 64Gb/s data transmission capabilities. It can be configured as a host adapter or a slave adapter.

The product design supports a maximum cable length of 9 meters for MiniSAS-HD copper cables or up to 100 meters for fiber optic cables, as per the PCI Express Gen3 full-speed requirements.

This product uses on-board DIP switches to select whether to use as a host or a target, as well as the split configuration of PCIE.

TOZ-PXH832 is a PCIe peripheral expansion card and a transparent bridge product.

TOZ-PXH832 is also known as a transparent bridge master/slave endpoint adapter (can use copper or fiber optic cables).

This product is used to replace domestically imported PCIe expansion cards from brands such as DOLPHIN, such as Dolphin's PXH812, PXH820, PXH832, etc.

The PXH832 Gen3 PCI Express endpoint adapter is a high-performance interface with external IO subsystems. This adapter is based on the Avago Gen3 PCI Express bridging architecture and provides advanced features such as transparent bridge (TB) and host clock isolation. The PXH832 endpoint card uses a four wire SFF-8644 connector and can use standard MiniSAS-HD cables or the new PCIe 3.0 cables currently being standardized by PCI-SIG.

The PXH832 is carefully designed to consider various long-distance usage scenarios and supports MiniSAS-HD copper cables up to 9 meters long at full speed on PCIe Gen3. Using fiber optics can reach up to 100 meters.
